Energy efficient heater box. a. Glass shortwave IR heaters which are functional only when pipes are presented for heating.
a. Heater box
i. Pneuamtic Controlled linear motion system ensures accurate and adjustible positioning of the heating oven. Accurate positioning of the heating oven during each cycle ensures that constant heating length is achieved in each cycle.
ii. Pipe axial position w.r.t. socketing reference is accurately achieved by Pneumatic System.
b. Pipe Transfer
i. Faster translation of pipe between stations thereby reducing overall cycle times.
c. Pipe Rotation
i. Unique pipe rotation system ensures uniform heating of pipe inside heater box.
d. Forming Station
i. SWR Socket formation by mechanical collapsible tool and external die.
ii. Socket cooling internally by chilled water and externally by air.
